Upper Towy

The Abermarlais waters at Llangadog run from the road bridge on both banks up to the railway bridge some 2 miles upriver, except the first field on the right looking up stream from the road bridge. It has well known runs and holding pools for salmon and sewin and has parts suitable along its length for worm, spinner and fly. Especially noted for sewin fly fishing it is remarkable how quickly this stretch becomes fishable after a flood. How quickly you ask, well take a day ticket and find out!
