Teifi Waters
The waters reach for some 2 miles down stream from the Alltcarvan Bridge. Starts with good pool for fish that have recently run the gorge above the weir. Below the weir are a series of pools and rapids that constitute the gorge. The gorge holds back salmon in the Tunnel and Sewin pools. Below these are a series of runs and pools down to the bottom field of the beat which can also be very productive. The Teifi is an important water for the Association maintaining a good fishing height, as it takes longer for the water to run off than the Towy, due to various upstream bogs acting like a sponge.
