Groe Park and Irfon Angling Club

The Groe Park and Irfon Angling Club is situated in Builth Wells and controls over 2 miles of water both single and double bank on the river Wye. The club offers both Game and Course Fishing.

Cross Hands and District Angling Association have a 2 rod exchange agreement with them which enables our members to fish their waters. Day permits can be obtained from the Manordeilo Service Station Llangadog, or for members who live a long distance away, these can be obtained through the post by contacting our membership secretary Gavin Davies.

Members collecting permits from the Service Station will be charged a nominal fee of £1 to cover the cost of administration. Cross Hands members fishing Groe Park and Irfon waters must set a good example for our club by keeping to their bylaws which can be found on their website in the Fishing prices section. Any Cross Hands member not abiding by these bylaws will be disciplined by the club, which could lead to them losing their membership.
